You thought pregnancy would feel more natural, more certain. But some days, it feels like you’re standing between two worlds, not quite the woman you were, not yet the mother you’re becoming.

Your body is changing faster than your mind can keep up, and even though everyone tells you what to expect, no one seems to talk about what it feels like.

You find yourself wondering if you’re doing it right or if you’ll ever be ready, if only you could just slow down and breathe.

Some days you feel deeply connected, and others you feel strangely distant from yourself, as if you’ve misplaced a part of who you are.

There’s a quiet ache beneath the surface, a sense that something deeper is unfolding. You can’t quite name it, but you know it matters.

You’re craving calm, clarity, and a way to trust yourself again — to feel at home in your body, your choices, and this new chapter of becoming.

You’re not the only one who feels this way.
So many women move through this incredible time of change quietly wondering if they’re the only ones finding it hard to feel at home in their changing body, their shifting emotions and their new identity.
You’re not broken for feeling uncertain, and you’re not behind for finding your own rhythm in all of this.
You’re simply in the middle of becoming.
What you’re feeling isn’t a sign that something’s wrong,
it’s a sign that a real change is unfolding.
And this is the part where you learn to listen to yourself again, to trust the quiet wisdom that’s always been there.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just need a safe space to breathe, to relax.
And to remember that everything you need is
already held within you.

For years, I've walked beside women as they took their step
into motherhood.
As a midwife, I witnessed the quiet courage that rises when a woman feels truly supported, but I’ve also seen how easily her strength can be dimmed by pressure, fear, along with that noise of expectation.
My work at Wise and With Child, grew from a longing to create a gentler way, one that honours both the physical and emotional journey of becoming a mother.
Through my experience in midwifery, along with my training in a range of complementary therapies, healing tools and coaching I help women reconnect with their inner steadiness, soften their self-judgement, and remember their own wisdom.
This space is a calm, nurturing place for you to breathe, to feel held, and to rediscover the quiet confidence that has always been within you.
Working with me is a calm, supportive experience where you can exhale, ask questions freely, and feel truly seen as you prepare for one of life’s biggest transitions.
I create a safe, nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement, knowing you’ll always be met with compassion and understanding.
Whether you’re in the early weeks of pregnancy or approaching birth, I’ll meet you exactly where you are, guiding you with warmth, wisdom, and over 30 years of experience as a midwife, therapist, and coach.
I see each woman as a whole being, with physical, emotional and energetic needs. My approach blends practical knowledge with emotional support, helping you feel informed, confident, and connected to your own inner strength.
Every conversation is grounded in respect for your choices and belief in your ability to birth and mother with confidence.
I won’t tell you what to do, but I will gently guide you back to your own knowing, so you can step into motherhood feeling calm, capable, and supported.
I believe in taking a breath, slowing down and trusting the wisdom
that's held in our bodies.
I’m all for gentleness, honesty, and the kind of support that helps
women feel truly seen and safe in their own skin.
I’m not here for pressure, perfection, or the idea that motherhood has to look a certain way.
We’ve all had enough of that.
My small joys?
I love a good cup of tea and conversations that go beneath the surface.
I believe laughter and tears often belong in the same breath,
and that healing happens when we feel truly seen.
Time with my family and long walks by the sea.
Those windswept walks always bring me back to what matters most — connection, nature, and presence.
If you’re drawn to calm spaces, honest connection, and a slower, more soulful way of preparing for birth and motherhood, you’ll feel right at home here.
